Santas Lap

First visit to see Santa went okay. Addy wasn't quite sure what to think so she studied him for a minute and then she decided she didn't want to sit there anymore. Overall it went okay...no screaming which is always good.

Early Christmas with Cousin Owen

Jeffs sister Mandy and her husband Brad and son Owen came to visit from Colorado so Addy and Owen got to open their Christmas presents from their Grandparents. Addy loved her gifts and she loved tearing into the paper. Addy got all sorts of fun things. Owen got a pony and Addy loved it. Thanks Owen for letting Addy play with your new toy.

Uncie Mitch's Return Home

Mitch was on a mission in Korea when Addy was born and so she's never met uncie Mitch so we went to the airport.

Randy, Leslea, Grammy and Grandpa went to Korea to pick Mitch up and they brought the girls home a scarf and little Addy got pink gloves. Here's Addy hanging out in our new loot.


She loved the gloves because she kept doing some pretty cute poses.

Meat... it's what's for Dinner

Jeffs grandpa drew out for a cow elk tag and he didn't want the meat so Jeff kindly offered to take it off his hands. He cut it and packaged it all himself, well he had two great little helpers. Although it's taken me some getting used to it's pretty tasty stuff.

Growing

Addyson is 7 months old today. I can't believe how fast it has gone but Jeff and I are loving every second.

Snarf Snarf

Addyson loves food. I don't know if it's normal for a 7 month old to throw a fit when her Mom and Dad don't give her a taste of their food but she does. So thanksgiving was the greatest. We gave her a roll and some apple pie and she was loving life. So her first thanksgiving was a dream come true.

Addy and the vacuum

I was vacuuming the floor and Addy could not figure out what the noise was so I took the vacuum over by her and let her scope it out for a minute. After that she could not let the vacuum out of her sight. I took the hose off to vacuum a corner and decided to suck her belly with it to see what she'd do and she laughed the hardest I've ever seen her laugh. We did it for probably 5 minutes before we decided we needed to get it on film. She was kind of laughed out by the time I had the camera out but she's still giggling pretty hard. I was filming while attacking her with the vacuum so the video isn't very steady but it's pretty funny.

Every year my Mom would have a halloween party for us and have lots of food and games. Since she's been gone my Aunt Denise has taken on the task to make us feel like we have a mother so here are some pictures from the party.

We pulled our love sac out the other night and I didn't think Addy would like it because it's a similar sitting position as her bouncer and she hates that now. Boy was I wrong she loves it. It's funny to see such a tiny baby buried in the middle, she gets lost sometimes but she's got plenty of space which is just what she likes.

Big girl

Jeff played in the Utah State Alumni Lacrosse game and Addy I went to watch but it was real cold so I dressed her in this cute outfit. Before the game I had to get her some new shoes. The outfit put together made her look so old.

Our morning walk

Since Jeff has started school I've been able to be home more with Addy. It's been fun because I've been able to take her on a walk almost everyday. It's starting to get chilly so we bundled her up one morning. Addy flinches when I take her picture my camera has 100 flashes before it takes the picture and she's figured out that if she closes her eyes on the first flash she won't get blinded by the others.

GIVE ME SOME MORE!

I just had to post again on her solid food experience because now she loves it. As you can see she is a little impatient I can't feed it to her fast enough now. We also had to pull out this old high chair my Mom had because since Addy has started big girl food she won't lean back in her bouncer now to eat she has to sit up like a big kid. We got a new and improved high chair for her but I haven't taken any pictures in it yet.

Addys first cereal

The Doctor wants us to start Addy on rice cereal for mouth training but she really doesn't like the taste, so the only training she's getting is spitting. She gives it a really good effort but she just can't handle the taste or the texture.
